To capture some videos you will have to extract the direct video URL to make a successful capture. To extract video URLs, you’ll need to install the free Chrome extension called Video Download Helper.
First, ensure the video is playing, then click on the Video Download Helper icon in your extensions section. A dropdown menu will appear, giving you the option to copy the video URL. Please note that this tool is used to extract URLs for all videos found on a page. Because of this, multiple URLs not necessarily for the needed video might be produced, if one URL does not capture the correct video please try another.
After opening the dropdown, find an option that allows you to copy the URL, and enter that URL in the videos section of Batch. Please click this link to watch a short clip for reference as you make this capture.
Then as you usually would, please make sure to add cookies to ensure a better capture for social media.
The URL from Video Download Helper did not work! What can I do?
If that doesn’t work you may need to take an additional step in this specific case to get the proper URL. After playing the video and having the dropdown appear. Click the three dots beside the Download button. Instead of selecting Copy URL, scroll further down and select Details.
This will take you to a separate page with numerous URLs. You can try any of the main URLs provided as they should all be the same. As you did before, enter the URLs in Batch along with cookies.
