At this time, Page Vault does not automatically translate web pages. With the below steps, you can translate a webpage within the Page Vault Browser for easy captures.
- In the Page Vault Browser, paste translate.google.com into the URL search bar and press enter. It should take you to a page that looks like the one below. Please note it is important to use this URL instead of going to Google Translate, as that will not produce the same results.
- Click the down arrows at the top of the boxes to change the language to your desired language for translation
- Paste the desired URL in the left-hand text box
- Click on the URL that appears in the right-hand box to load the new URL in a new tab
- In the new tab, you should see a Google Translate bar at the top and the words will slowly start translating. Note, this may take longer depending on the amount of content on the page.
- Once the translated page has loaded you can capture it in the Browser by clicking the Capture button OR you can capture it in the web page section of the Batch tool. If you capture this page in Batch, be sure to copy your cookies from the Browser in the cookies section. If you need help copying cookies, please see this help page.
